Copperfield's Magic Shrinks Heating Bills
Oshawa, February 20, 2004 - On Friday, February 24 in the Oshawa community of Copperfield, a "housewarming" party will be held for Ontario Energy Minister Donna Cansfield and other invited guests to witness first hand the magic of renewable home heating.
Hosted by Marshall Homes, Clean Energy Developments and the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition (CGC), the party is in celebration of the launch of Ontario's first production home heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and domestic hot water (DHW) system to combine solar and geoexchange clean energy technologies. This system, known as STREAM™, reduces conventional energy consumption by 79% and saves homeowners up to $2,500 a year on their energy bills.
