Oh, I love your new house! Such a beautiful street! Aren’t
you lucky!”
Our happy customers hear this all the time. And, yes,
our neigbourhoods are indeed beautiful, but it wasn’t
luck that did it.
Years ago Craig Marshall had an epiphony: No matter how much
attention you spend on the details of your own home, if the
neighbourhood lacks curb appeal, you lose.
Suddenly it was clear that you can’t have one home all-brick
with a massive cedar shake roof, and the next one with half-vinyl
siding and flat conventional shingles, and expect to create
a harmonious street. That’s the day we settled upon a
set of architectural and construction standards and we’ve
stuck with them ever since. The resulting neighbourhoods have
been a credit to the surrounding areas and command high resale
values.
