All the homes in
Kingsfield are All-brick, or all-brick and stone. How come?
|
Because we like brick and stone,
it’s practical. Low maintenance. Never needs painting.
It’s fire resistant, in fact some insurance companies
give brick homes a better rate.
And a brick home is worth more at re-sale, around 6% more than
an identical non-brick home, (according to Marshall and Swift’s
residential Cost Handbook, a reference used by real estate appraisers).
But that’s not the whole story.
When all of the homes on a street are all-brick they make for
a better looking neighbourhood. Even the smallest home looks
substantial, because everything just goes together better.
There are so many reasons to prefer an all-brick neighbourhood
you shouldn’t wonder that all-brick is a Marshall Homes
standard.
You should wonder how come it’s an extra cost option elsewhere. |
