The case for casements
all around.
|
Most builders agree that higher-quality
casement windows are better looking than common standard ones.
That’s why they put them on the front of their houses,
for what they call “curb appeal”. But in order to
save money, they revert to the cheaper windows on the sides
and the back. We don’t do that.
All the windows in a Marshall Home (except for the basement
windows) are maintenance-free casements, in the front, on the
sides, and in the back. Because along with curb appeal, we think
side appeal and backyard appeal matter too.
A house has four walls and we’d hate to cheapen the appearance
of three of them just to save a buck. |
